2021 Kate Sheppard Cup - Round 2

This Queens Birthday (Monday) we continue our Kate Sheppard Cup run against Cashmere Technical at Garrick Memorial Park.

The 2021 Kate Sheppard Cup (known as the Football Foundation Kate Sheppard Cup) Founded in 1994, it was known as the Women's Knockout Cup, until it was renamed in 2018. What would have been the 2020 edition of the competition, was cancelled because of COVID-19.

The first round against University was a convincing display coming out 8-1 winners at Ilam Fields.

In the second round Cashmere Technical will be a tougher proposition, as our closest rivals over the last few seasons. Cashmere were 3-2 winners against Ferrymead Bays in the first round.

The first New World Premiership match between the two sides Coastal were 5-1 winners, with the first four goals going to Britney-Lee Nicholson.

We will no doubt see an improved display from Cashmere Technical and a Cup tie worth getting along to!
